  • 230g dairy free butter

  • 230 caster sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 230g self-raising flour

  • 5 tbsp dairy free milk

  • 1tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 ½ tbsp cocoa powder (make sure it’s dairy free)


  • Heat the oven to 180°C and line a circular baking tin with a circle of baking paper

  • In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together and add the eggs, and mix thoroughly

  • Add the flour, vanilla, milk and mix again

  • Divide the mixture between two bowls. In one of them, add in the cocoa powder and in the other, add in another teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • Use two spoons to dollop the chocolate and vanilla into the tin, alternating

  • Use a skewer to swirl the mixture around to create that marble effect

  • Bake in the oven for 45 minutes

  • Enjoy!
