DAIRY FREE CHOCOLATE CINNAMON FRENCH TOAST STICKS
Ingredients:
5 slices of bread
Dairy Free chocolate spread
2 eggs
Splash of oat milk
Pinch of cinnamon
1tsp butter
For the coating:
½ cup sugar
A few tablespoons of cinnamon
Syrup, for topping
Fresh fruit, for topping
Method:
Cut the crusts off the bread and roll using a rolling pin
Slice into rectangles and spread with chocolate spread
Fold the rectangles in half
In a bowl, mix together the eggs, milk and cinnamon
Spray the pan with oil and allow the teaspoon of butter to melt
Coat the bread in the egg mixture and immediately transfer to the pan
Cook on each side until golden brown
In a plate, mix together the sugar and cinnamon until well combined
Cover the French toast with the cinnamon sugar mix
When all the sticks have been coated, transfer to a plate and top with syrup and fresh fruit
