VEGAN SCONES
Ingredients:
700g self-raising flour
200g dairy fee butter/margarine
300ml oat milk, plus extra for brushing
6tbsp caster sugar
2tsps salt
2tsp baking powder
Method:
Mix together the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder
Add in the butter and use your hands to form breadcrumbs
Gradually combine with the oat milk and form a smooth dough
Refrigerate for 40-45 minutes
Use a 7cm circular cutter to cut the dough
Brush with oat milk
Preheat the oven to 180C
Put the scones in the freezer for 20 minutes
Bake for 15-20 minutes in the oven until golden brown
