VEGAN SCONES

Ingredients:

  • 700g self-raising flour

  • 200g dairy fee butter/margarine

  • 300ml oat milk, plus extra for brushing

  • 6tbsp caster sugar

  • 2tsps salt

  • 2tsp baking powder



Method:

  • Mix together the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder

  • Add in the butter and use your hands to form breadcrumbs

  • Gradually combine with the oat milk and form a smooth dough

  • Refrigerate for 40-45 minutes

  • Use a 7cm circular cutter to cut the dough

  • Brush with oat milk

  • Preheat the oven to 180C

  • Put the scones in the freezer for 20 minutes

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes in the oven until golden brown

  • Enjoy!
